The Unique Identification Authority of India is the agency which is responsible for providing the UID card around the country. Under this scheme, every citizen of India will have a unique identification number and some identification information about them like their bio metric information, photograph, iris and ten different fingerprints etc. this number is randomly generated and will remove any discrimination on the basis on caste, gender, religion, creed and even geography. All this information will be stored in a centralized database. It is an extremely cost effective way and the best part is that the problem of duplicate and fake identities will be reduced to a large extent.
